Welcome to my creative world! I love crafting, cross stitch, embroidery, DIY, and anything else I can get my hands into. I decided to blog about crafting because just crafting wasn’t enough!
I am a full-time graphic designer and full-time craft addict. Sometimes I have to tell myself to not be a social shut-in and just spend all my time making things by myself. I started Yelloh in 2016 as a way to try and open up a little bit (still working on that part), practice writing (that part too) and because I just make so many things! That last part I’ve never had an issue with.
I’ve had tons of fun sharing all my projects and hope to continue overflowing my home with handmade love – and inspire you to do the same!

A little bit about me:
My life is based around my faith. Being surrounded by other wonderful people, I’m inspired to be a better person everyday. I hope to learn a little something from every single one of them. I was lucky enough to grow up in a home filled with the Lord and hope to do the same with my (future) children… NO MOM, I’m not pregnant yet. My parents are the best role models you could ask for and I have an older sister who is always on my side (except when there is only one cookie left, then its on like donkey kong).
One of my favorite bible verses is 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Making art, crafts and everything else brings me joy, and I hope to bring that same joy to some of your lives too! Things that inspire me include: exploring new places (for sure), thrift store shopping (definitely), and lots of fresh air (of course!).
I met my husband, Luke, at my church youth group in 8th grade. It may have taken a few years for us to figure it out, but we eventually got our fairy tale ending! In 2014 we got married and I gained my partner in all things big and small (you know, the important life stuff, like: “does this nail polish make my toes look fat?”, “is eating ice cream for breakfast REALLY unacceptable? or is that just what parents want us to think?”, and usually a lot of “what should we binge-watch on Netflix?”). In addition to all that insight, I also got another whole wonderful family!
Also, I’m obsessed with my dog, Riley. (Thats a big one)
