It’s Miscellaneous Monday!
When I share an old project I found lying around or other miscellaneous things.
This is a project I started last year and finally got around to finishing it for this Halloween. I found the idea I found on DIY Candy. She has really great instructions and they’re easy to follow!
I wanted to make a pumpkin pattern, so I got some graph paper and designed my own. After I made my design and painted my canvas black, I taped the graph paper centered on the back of the canvas.
I used a the pointed edge of a compass (it was the best thing I could find for the job) to make the holes. A nail or anything else pointed would work great, too.
After all my holes were made, I got the biggest needle I could find and used orange yarn to thread the cross stitch pattern.
It turned out really great and was definitely worth all the procrastination!
