I have been so swamped lately! I can barely keep up. But spring is finally here and nothing can top that burst of energy that comes along with the fresh air! So I’m hoping it will help me get a lot done in the next few weeks..
In between all the things I’ve been juggling lately, I’ve still found time to do some stitching and get my eyes off a computer for a little while. That is one of my favorite things about stitching, not only that it’s relaxing, but also that it’s something to do that doesn’t involve a screen. Sometimes I find myself checking my phone once a minute and then realize it’s just out of habit, I don’t actually have a reason for looking. So the more I can step away from technology, the better. (I guess blogging doesn’t really help this life goal, but I’ll count it as improving my writing skills!)
As you probably know, I’m from Cleveland. And us Clevelanders tend to have a lot of pride in our city and state. I know people usually count us out, but its a pretty great place to live, and I love it! I work in the city and live just east—in the “burbs.” I was born and raised here and don’t plan on moving. So after all these years, I’ve accumulated quite a bit of Ohio and Cleveland stuff. Stickers, shirts, mugs…you name it! And these hoops I’ve been making are the perfect addition to a house full of Ohio pride.
And don’t forget to check out these hoops on Etsy!
